About Chandler
Hello,
I am Mrs. Buford, I have been teaching in the classroom for the last 5 years. My biggest strengths are building relationships with students, and inspiring motivation to learn. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas in Arlington with a bachelor's in education. I have a special place in my heart for students in SPED having been a SPED student myself. I may have struggled in school because of my ADHD and Dyslexia, but I learned skills to manage them and still be successful. When I am not teaching I am spending time outdoors with my family, I have the two cutest dogs and I can't wait to show them to you!

- It's important to me first to build a relationship with your student, so I can figure out who they are and what motivates them.
- My lessons are student centered on their needs of growth, I want to help address though in a fun and engaging way. This looks different for everyone, because different needs and interest. Social-Emotional, Language Arts, or Math.
- My goal is to build their confidence and their skills. I understand what it is like for learning to be difficult, so I want to best support them any way I can.
- My experience has been with PK- 6th, but if I sound like a good fit, I'd love to help anyway I can.
