About Nicolette
I am a homeschooling mother of 3 who has had a career studying special needs children and the ways in which they learn. I have had great success with struggling readers and enjoy seeing them grow in confidence and skill.

Reading can be challenging for some but can allow a child to build so much confidence and learn independently which opens the world to them. My lesson plan would depend on the student's level but would usually consist of warm up phonics and sight word review and then guided reading. These lessons would be for beginning or struggling readers up to 4th grade. My experience with special needs children has given the tools to troubleshoot and work with struggling readers.
