About Irina
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education, with teaching experience in IB schools in Colombia (2013–2015). I currently tutor international IB students from Lisbon, London, Paris, and Dubai, giving me a deep understanding of different educational systems and expectations. I am passionate about helping students achieve their best results, combining academic rigor with an approachable style. My goal is always to provide both results and confidence, especially for students preparing for competitive university admissions or challenging IB exams.

My lessons are fully tailored to each student’s goals, whether preparing for IB Mathematics HL or SL exams, improving grades, or building long-term confidence in the subject.
I use Miro, an interactive online whiteboard where all lessons remain saved, so students can review material anytime. I also keep close contact with my students via WhatsApp, offering quick support between sessions so they never feel ‘stuck’ on their own.
We regularly work with past IB exam papers, focusing on strategies that improve performance and exam technique. My teaching goes beyond memorization — I help students develop critical thinking and real understanding, essential for success in IB and future studies.
