About Punit
I am a freelance tutor based near Epping, with a strong natural aptitude for Maths and a clear understanding of the 11+ process. I am not a qualified teacher, but I successfully tutored my daughter through her 11+ exams — she gained admission to one of the UK’s top 10 private secondary schools. That hands-on experience gave me a deep appreciation for what children and parents go through during this journey — and how vital consistent, supportive teaching can be. I now offer the same level of commitment to a small number of students, mainly through in-person lessons, though I also offer online tuition where needed. I enjoy working closely with families who value calm, focused sessions that nurture both skill and confidence.

My lessons focus on Maths and English for children preparing for the 11+ entrance exams. I prefer to teach in person, as I find it allows for better rapport and engagement, but I am also happy to offer online sessions if more convenient for your family. I only take on a small number of students to ensure each child receives highly personalised support. My approach is calm, structured, and tailored to your child’s individual pace and learning style. I focus on building strong foundations in key areas like comprehension, vocabulary, arithmetic, and problem-solving — along with the confidence and exam technique needed for 11+ success.
