About Sandra
Since I started school, it always struck me how, if someone presented us with a subject as "difficult", then we all had a harder time learning it. I still feel that sometimes the emphasis is on the difficulty and not on the pleasure of learning something new. Of course you have to take the trouble to learn, but it's rather fun, and so far I haven't met any child who doesn't enjoy the adventure.
The point is to get him on the right path, to help him work through difficulties, to find encouragement, to understand what his interests and abilities are.
In that sense, I believe that the Internet and technology are an immense source of resources.
When I meet a new student, the first thing I do is try to understand what is difficult for them and why, and what interests them and is easy for them. Using their skills we manage to find ways to overcome or go around obstacles, and with that increases safety and autonomy in learning. In order to learn, the first thing is to trust that one can learn.

Learning to read and write should be fun, without taking away from its complexity. All children are curious and like to learn new things. Faced with a difficulty, instead of insisting on the difficult path, perhaps it is best to look for another path that is simpler or more interesting to follow. I use multimedia, technology, and art to stimulate and facilitate children's learning processes. I am a primary and literacy teacher, as well as a multimedia technician.
