About Estelle
I am a grammar school student who is currently predicted very high gcse grades. I have tutored three students so far who have all passed the 11+ Plus and now attend on of the King Edward Grammar schools in Birmingham. Each student got above 226 in the King Edward test and also did very well in the Queen Mary's test. I have a lot of experience with the whole 11+ process having prepared for it myself for more than two years and now what you have to do to excel.

My teaching method is very engaging. When I first start teaching a student I like to know where exactly they are, so I will test you on :
*Maths
*Comprehension
*Verbal reasoning
*Non-verbal reasoning
*Spellings
*Definitions
*Cloze
Since these are all aspects that appear in the 11 plus exam. From there, I will have some knowledge about your strengths and your weaknesses but also your exam technique and from there we move forward.
Usually, I will start the lesson with a spellings and definition test as well as a maths recap test from the previous lesson. I will then teach one of the seven topics and give you classwork as well as homework which will be marked. Every month, you will be tested on these topics consider them 'mini-mock tests' and I will use them to track your progress.
After these we will have two separate lessons dedicated to your mistakes and making sure you thoroughly understand the topic.
Coming towards the end of your journey with me we will have more practice with proper and real mock tests.
