About Oliver
A Phase One Certified Professional, and associate member of the Royal Photographic Society, I have been shooting professionally since 2012 beginning with events such as weddings and balls, I have gradually developed my practice to high end portraiture for models, actors and musicians.`
My interest in photography began at 14 where I started photographing landscapes. It wasn’t until my time at University where I became heavily interested in the technical aspect, learning the ins and outs of multiple camera and lighting systems, across a range of formats that my practice began to take several different forms.
I shot my first portrait in my third year, and haven’t looked back since. I now pride myself in providing high quality imagery for actors, models and musicians for use in their portfolios. I have been published internationally in several fashion magazines, and continue to hone my skills in all aspects of my work.

Having spent over a decade in the industry, I understand that every learner is different and works at their own pace. It is of paramount importance to me that each student gets exactly what they want from my sessions while being able to learn the highest quality skills.
My sessions cover everything from more basic photographic techniques, to advanced features within software and camera operation, along with bespoke crit sessions.
Lessons typically last 1 hour, but can be customised to meet the learners need - in person or online.
I’ve been teaching for the past 7 years at degree level, and am currently working towards an MA in photography history.
Lessons are for anyone of any level wishing to gain a better understanding of photography - from a novice wanting to get their head around manual camera controls, to someone more advanced wanting advice and guidance to improve their craft.
