About Camilla
I have intensive expertise in implementing behavioral and academic interventions. These skills have come from helping children who experienced trauma, exhibited oppositional defiance, and had difficulty regulating their emotions. I also helped many children with disabilities that inhibited their learning. Some of these disabilities consisted of ADHD, Autism, cerebral palsy, brain injury, and William's syndrome.

My goal as a teacher is to help children love learning. My students come to me with mental blocks that school is hard, boring, and frustrating. They also have experience with comparing themselves to their peers, believing that they're not good enough. Growing up with a mother and brother with Autism, I relate personally to their struggles and that helps me connect with my students' fears and insecurities. I believe that every educator must prioritize creating a loving and fun environment for children to learn.
