I am a certified Special Educator and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have been in school settings for 5+ years and have more than 30 years experience (when you include my biological and adopted children and work in daycare settings. I have experience with all age groups.

I love to work with the "hard to reach" and/or "struggling" students. I enjoy helping them to see it as a challenge, a puzzle to figure out. What needs are not being met and how can we turn the pieces of the puzzle so that they fit? I am skilled at helping students (of all ages) determine and establish goals and a plan to reach those goals. Additionally, having taught as an Adjunct Faculty Member Community college, I found I enjoy the mix of working with students of all ages to learn in a style that works for them and allows them to develop their skills and talents.
