About Gabriella
My name is Ukwueze Gabriella Chinagorom, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) graduate in Special Education/English from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
I have professional experience working as a Shadow Teacher/Teacher Assistant, providing one-on-one classroom and learning support to a child with special educational needs. My responsibilities included supporting communication, social and academic tasks, assisting with classroom activities, encouraging participation in learning, and working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and SEN supervisors.
I am passionate about helping children with additional learning needs develop their abilities, confidence, communication, and independence. I believe every learner deserves an approach that recognizes their individual needs and celebrates their progress.
My Teaching Approach
I use a patient, structured, supportive, and learner-centered approach, adapting activities to the child's needs and abilities. I also maintain progress observations and work collaboratively with parents and other professionals involved in the child's education.
