About De'Shonda
I am friendly and caring teacher that wants to support my students' growth. I believe that all students are able to succeed when given the tools and resources to do so.
I have experience working with students in preschool all the way to high school; but, most of my experience is with students in grades 3 to 5.
I have worked as a counselor as well as a teacher. I have worked on a cruise ships, a school in Finland, and even at different camps.

I am a teacher who is familiar with different lesson plans as well as differentiating instruction. Due to my experience, I am able to explain concepts at various levels of comprehension.
I utilize a lot of visuals to support students. I typically prepare my lesson based on the student's needs and current level of functioning so no lesson is exactly the same.
I am looking to tutor students k-6 who need support in reading and math. I am also working on obtaining my TEFL in order to support English Language Learners.
