About Gabby
Hello! My name is Gabby, and I am a Special Education teacher with experience supporting students in both mathematics and English Language Arts. Throughout my classroom experience, I have worked closely with students of varying abilities and learning styles, helping them build academic skills, confidence, and independence.
My passion for education comes from seeing students realize their potential. I understand that learning can be challenging, especially for students who may struggle with attention, organization, reading, writing, or math. I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and celebrating their progress.
I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my instruction to meet individual needs. By breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and providing consistent encouragement, I help students develop both academic skills and self-confidence.
Whether your child needs extra support with coursework, study strategies, homework completion, or skill development, I am committed to helping them achieve their goals. I look forward to working together to make learning a positive and successful experience.

As a Special Education teacher, I believe every student can be successful when instruction is tailored to their individual needs. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, providing clear and structured instruction, and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
My lessons begin with a quick review of previously learned skills and a discussion of the day's objective. I use modeling, guided practice, and visual supports to teach new concepts, followed by opportunities for students to practice independently while receiving feedback and support. I frequently incorporate graphic organizers, technology tools, real-world examples, and differentiated materials to help students access the curriculum in a way that works best for them.
What sets me apart is my background in Special Education and my experience working directly with students with diverse learning needs, including learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and executive functioning challenges. I understand that students learn at different rates, and I prioritize patience, encouragement, and individualized support rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
My lessons are ideal for upper elementary, middle school, and early high school students who need support in reading, writing, mathematics, study skills, organization, homework completion, or academic confidence. Whether a student needs remediation, extra practice, or help staying on track with schoolwork, I work to create lessons that are engaging, effective, and aligned with their specific goals.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to help them develop the confidence and independence they need to become successful learners both inside and outside the classroom.
