About Mia
I'm a neurodiverse special education student with a passion for disability justice. I have a diploma in Classroom Community Support and I'm halfway through my degree in Child and Youth Care. I work in the school district as an education assistant. I also consult on IEPs and give workshops on accessibility.

I come from a trauma informed strengths based perspectives in all my interactions.
Sessions usually start with a check-in to see how everything is going and where the energy levels are at today. Depending on the student I'll have a visual schedule set up and run through it with them.
