Learning Portuguese requires a lot of openness, confidence, and a good sense of humor. We’re going to have plenty of laughs with words that sound funny, but that’s part of the process. It’s right then that we begin to realize we’re grasping Portuguese—when we allow ourselves to laugh and keep going!
