Shelley's skills as a linguist and professor are second to none. She has an extraordinary grasp of language, literature and culture and an intricate understanding of grammar and morphosyntax. As someone who was taught both Spanish and French by Shelley and as a fluent speaker of seven languages, I could not recommend her more highly.
