Deze docent is zonder twijfel dol op taal, en blinkt uit in Spaans in het bijzonder. Hij kent voor alle grammatica meerdere manieren om het uit te leggen; uiteindelijk heb ik het altijd kunnen begrijpen.
Yip en ik hebben samen op de basisschool gezeten en kregen later weer contact via zijn broertje. Toen ik eenmaal 4 jaar Spaans had gehad en nog steeds geen woord sprak, besloten ik opzoek te gaan naar een bijles tutor. Met Yip heb ik vooral geoefend voor mijn eindexamen, dus wij hebben samen teksten gelezen en vragen hierover beantwoord. Ook hebben we een kinderboek in het Spaans besteld die ik zelf ook kon proberen te gaan lezen. En na deze bijles heb ik wonder boven wonder een voldoende gehaald voor mijn eindexamen Spaans. Hij bleef heel kalm en hielp mij goed zoeken naar de juiste leermethode, dus ik raad hem bij iedereen aan.
