About Lucía
Hi! My name is Lucia and I am 22 years old. During these last years I have studied Translation and Interpretation of German, English, Spanish and Catalan. To improve my fluency and my level in these languages I have taken English courses at the University of Leipzig and the University of Arizona and, on the other hand, I have studied one year at one of the best translation universities in Germany (University of Leipzig).
In addition, I have worked as a freelance private teacher of English and Spanish and in an academy as a teacher of English and German.
As you may have deduced, I love languages and transmitting the richness they possess, either by translating them or teaching them. Of course, always in a pleasant way :)

I have been teaching English revision classes since I was 18 years old, helping my students pass their exams in this way.
I lived in Germany for a year, where I started teaching Spanish for foreigners to students who wanted to improve their skills.
I currently work in an academy as an English and German teacher, but I would like to resume my classes as a Spanish teacher.
My learning methods are:
• Elaboration and application of methods and study material in German, English and Spanish for foreigners.
• Identification and attention to individual needs, adapting the methodology.
• Assessment of learning progress by providing positive and constructive feedback.
On the other hand, I have experience translating (DE/ES/CA/EN-CA/ES) and proofreading texts in Catalan and Spanish.

Conocí a lucia a través de un amigo que me comentó su conocimiento de idiomas y contacté con ella para que me ayudara a conseguir el título b2 en inglés necesario para mi carrera. Lo que más me ha gustado de sus clases es que no me costaba esfuerzo y hasta disfrutaba, porque hacía unas clases tan dinámicas que aprender me resultó divertido
Conocí a lucia en el erasmus que hicimos en Alemania, llevaba años interesada en retomar mi aprendizaje del español asique aproveche la oportunidad y decidí empezar con ello. Hace un año desde ese momento, y gracias a sus ganas por enseñar y a lo didácticas que eran las clases, junto a la inmersión lingüística que hicimos (siempre intentaba comunicarse conmigo en español hasta que la entendía) he conseguido la fluidez que tengo para hablar y sobretodo la comprensión del idioma. Me siento muy orgullosa de haber tomado esa decisión y a día de hoy sigo teniendo contacto con ella y me ayuda en todo gracias a sus amplios conocimientos.
