About Oscar
Together with my doctoral studies, I completed a one-year M.A. on pedagogy. This training, coupled with my hands-on teaching experiences, has allowed me to develop a communicative approach to teaching that stimulates student creativity and emphasizes context-based learning. I want students to enjoy the material as much as I do. More importantly, I want them to learn and to appreciate the analytical skills that the study of Spanish language can teach regarding Spanish cultures

I usually conduct my classes as seminars, where all students are encouraged to participate in discussions and are expected to actively question the materials presented. My experience has shown that this approach allows students to take responsibility for their learning and promotes intellectual independence.
