About Camilo

Special offer for Superprof students: To help offset your student subscription, I offer a $20 cash-back when you book my 10-hour package. Superprof’s student subscription is about $40, and this is my way of covering roughly 50% of that cost. You’ll pay through Superprof as usual; I’ll refund $20 in cash (or your preferred method) after our first lesson in the package. This is a personal offer from me and not affiliated with or endorsed by Superprof.

Hola! I’m a native Spanish speaker passionate about languages and helping learners succeed. I teach all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced students polishing speaking or grammar. My lessons focus on real communication, tailored to your pace and learning style. I weave in culture, music, and real-life situations, and I can explain concepts clearly in English when helpful. I’ve created 120+ custom Spanish lessons and use resources like TED-Ed, DW Español, SpanishDictionary, select YouTube channels, and curated image libraries to keep classes engaging and practical. Learning should be fun, motivating, and stress-free. Beyond teaching, I enjoy traveling, anthropology, investing, and yoga. Let’s reach your goals together!

Learning Spanish with Professor Camilo has been the highlight of my language‑learning journey. Thanks to his creative activities and encouraging feedback, I now speak with a confidence I never imagined possible. His classes blend clear explanations, engaging cultural insights, and plenty of real‑world conversation practice, so every lesson feels both motivating and immediately useful. From day one he tailored his approach to my goals, patiently correcting mistakes while celebrating progress, no matter how small.
