About Lorena
I am a Language Teacher. I speak English, French, and Spanish, which is my mother tongue. I have two Bachelor's Degrees, one for English and one for French. I have more than ten years of experience working with individuals and groups, face to face and online. I will study a Business Administration Diploma at UVic in January next year, 2020.

I have always used the Communicative Approach in my classes. I have always tried to immerse my students in a real context to enable learning as naturally as possible. I believe that I have the sensitivity to perceive the weak points that students might have in the language and reinforce them with explanations and appropriate activities. In a class, we address the four language skills to study language as a whole: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Perfect! My first lesson with Lorena went very very well. It was excellent 5/5. She tailored the lesson to meet my needs, and it quickly became obvious that she was an experienced and talented language tutor. I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to learn Spanish.
