About Kate
I am a fourth year student at Heriot-Watt University and I love languages! I studied German and Spanish at school and went on to study them at university. I have spent a semester abroad at the University of Salamanca in Spain and did another online semester at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. I feel this strengthened my knowledge of culture and language and I am passionate about sharing my love of learning languages. I am friendly and take a relaxed approach to lessons as I think students benefit more from this way of teaching.

I can tailor lessons to a student's specific goals. Whether that's having half an hour of conversational Spanish or going over grammar rules is entirely up to the student. Lessons can be 30min/1 hour and I am open to teaching all secondary school students. I am in the process of finishing my degree in Spanish and German.
