About Nora
My fascination with Spanish began through interest in literature, travel, and communication across different cultures during my academic journey. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Hispanic Studies, a Master’s Degree in Language Education, and later a PhD in Applied Hispanic Language Studies. Over the past 13 years, I have guided students from different educational backgrounds while helping them improve fluency and communication confidence through supportive language instruction.
I believe language learning should feel practical, engaging, and approachable for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on conversation practice, relatable examples, and structured explanation that help students understand Spanish naturally instead of depending entirely on memorization techniques. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and communicate actively because confidence develops through supportive interaction and consistent participation during lessons.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish literature, studying Latin American traditions, and watching international cinema in Spanish. Staying creatively connected to language helps me bring fresh discussions and practical cultural insight into lessons regularly. Teaching Spanish is deeply rewarding because I enjoy helping students become more confident communicators over time. My goal is always to support learners in building strong language skills while developing appreciation for Spanish expression and culture.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally through interactive speaking activities, structured grammar practice, and practical language exercises. I teach pronunciation, vocabulary expansion, listening comprehension, sentence building, and conversational fluency in a supportive environment where learners can improve comfortably at their own pace. Students are encouraged to speak actively because regular communication builds confidence and fluency naturally over time. Every lesson creates a positive and motivating learning experience.
Lessons are adapted carefully according to each learner’s level and communication goals. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation practice, and simple sentence structure, while advanced learners work on fluent conversation, expressive writing, listening precision, and detailed communication. I include storytelling exercises, roleplay situations, guided discussions, and reading activities regularly because active participation strengthens understanding and language retention effectively. Students receive supportive correction that helps them improve steadily without unnecessary pressure or discouragement during lessons.
I aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable using Spanish naturally in real-life situations and meaningful conversations. Many learners initially struggle with speaking hesitation, so I focus on gradual fluency development through patience and encouragement. Over time, students improve communication skills, pronunciation, and listening ability naturally. Spanish becomes much more rewarding when learners realize they can express themselves confidently while connecting deeply with the language and culture.
