About Lyric
I hold a B.A. in Spanish Language, Literature, and Applied Linguistics and have taught Spanish for 7 years, helping learners of all levels achieve fluency and cultural understanding. My teaching emphasizes interactive learning, structured grammar practice, and immersive conversation, ensuring students develop confidence and competence. I provide lessons that are engaging, personalized, and supportive. Through conversation, exercises, and cultural exploration, I help learners understand the “why” behind grammar rules, idiomatic usage, and pronunciation patterns. Constructive feedback and encouragement are central to my approach, promoting steady improvement. Outside the classroom, I immerse myself in Spanish literature, music, media, and cultural activities to bring fresh perspectives into lessons. Teaching Spanish is deeply rewarding because I witness learners gain both language mastery and cultural awareness. Supporting students in becoming confident, expressive, and culturally competent communicators is the most fulfilling part of my work.
