About Evie
My interest in Spanish began when I first started exploring world languages and discovered how widely the language is used around the world. I enjoyed learning about the traditions, history, and literature connected to Spanish-speaking cultures. This curiosity inspired me to pursue formal language education and complete a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language Studies.
Over the past 6 years, I have taught Spanish to students with many different learning goals. Some learners wanted to prepare for travel or academic programs, while others simply wanted to explore a new language for personal enrichment. Teaching students from different backgrounds helped me develop adaptable teaching strategies.
My teaching approach focuses on conversation practice, clear grammar explanation, and steady vocabulary development. I encourage students to participate actively in lessons so they can gain confidence using the language in real situations. Helping learners enjoy the process of learning Spanish and communicate with confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching work.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally while also developing a strong understanding of the language structure. Spanish is widely spoken across many regions of the world, and learning it opens opportunities for cultural connection and global communication. In my lessons, learners gradually improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through structured language activities.
Lessons usually begin with pronunciation practice and simple conversation exercises. Students learn common vocabulary related to everyday situations such as greetings, travel, and daily activities. These exercises help learners become comfortable with the sound and rhythm of Spanish while building confidence in forming sentences.
As students continue learning, lessons expand to include grammar topics such as verb conjugation, sentence patterns, and reading comprehension. Students also practice writing short paragraphs and participating in guided discussions that strengthen fluency. My goal is to help learners develop practical communication skills while also understanding the cultural traditions connected to Spanish-speaking communities.
