I am a BA Spanish graduate with a passion for languages, communication and helping others build confidence in Spanish. My lessons are designed to be supportive, engaging and tailored to each student's individual goals and learning style.
I teach a range of students, including primary school pupils, GCSE students, absolute beginners and adults learning Spanish for holidays, travel or personal interest. Whether you are preparing for exams, looking to improve your speaking skills, or starting from scratch, lessons are adapted to your needs and pace.
My teaching approach focuses on practical language use alongside a solid understanding of grammar. I use a variety of resources, including presentations, interactive exercises, role plays, conversation practice and real-life scenarios to help students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. I believe learning should be enjoyable, and I encourage students to actively use Spanish from the very beginning.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and include a mixture of vocabulary, grammar, speaking practice and revision. I also provide lesson notes and optional homework to help reinforce learning between sessions.
As a tutor, I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their confidence. My goal is not only to improve your Spanish but also to help you enjoy the learning process.
