About Leah
My passion for Spanish developed through years of studying language, culture, and international communication. This interest inspired me to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Languages followed by a Master of Arts in Spanish Language Teaching. During my 5 years of teaching experience, I have helped learners build confidence through structured lessons and practical communication activities. Teaching Spanish allows me to support students as they develop valuable skills and broaden their opportunities.
I believe successful language learning requires both clear instruction and meaningful practice. My teaching approach emphasizes understanding language patterns while encouraging active participation. Through guided conversations, listening exercises, and personalized feedback, I help students develop confidence and fluency in ways that feel natural and achievable. Every lesson is tailored to support individual goals and learning styles.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish literature, studying cultural traditions, and engaging with language-learning communities. These interests help me bring authentic perspectives into the classroom. Seeing students achieve milestones and communicate more comfortably is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession. I look forward to helping learners reach their goals and enjoy the richness of the Spanish language.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate clearly and confidently in practical situations. I teach grammar foundations, verb conjugation, sentence building, vocabulary expansion, listening comprehension, pronunciation development, and conversation skills through a structured and supportive approach. Complex language concepts are divided into simple steps that make learning manageable and effective. Students build confidence as they gradually develop their ability to understand and use Spanish in meaningful ways. Every lesson is designed to support steady and lasting progress.
Lessons are adapted to each learner's needs, interests, and experience level. Beginners focus on basic vocabulary, essential grammar patterns, and simple conversational skills. Intermediate students strengthen fluency, listening accuracy, and sentence-building confidence. Advanced learners refine communication, expand vocabulary, and improve natural expression. Students preparing for travel receive practical language training, while those adapting to Spanish-speaking communities develop useful skills for everyday interactions. Continuous feedback helps learners identify strengths and continue improving.
Learning a language should feel encouraging and enjoyable. My lessons create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable practicing and asking questions.
