About Marin
My interest in Spanish developed through a fascination with global cultures and human connection through language. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages before earning a PhD in Spanish Language Education. Over the last 6 years, I have guided students pursuing personal, academic, and professional language goals.
I believe effective teaching combines patience, adaptability, and meaningful communication practice. My teaching style focuses on helping learners build strong foundations while gaining confidence in real situations. I enjoy supporting students as they achieve milestones in their learning journey.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying Hispanic cultures, reading Spanish literature, and exploring language-learning research. These experiences enrich my lessons and provide useful context for learners. Helping students become confident Spanish communicators remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate comfortably and confidently in real-world situations. We work on pronunciation accuracy, grammar foundations, vocabulary growth, listening development, reading comprehension, and speaking practice through engaging exercises and meaningful conversations. Every lesson encourages active learning and steady improvement.
As learners continue progressing, we explore conversational strategies, cultural topics, advanced sentence structures, idiomatic expressions, and communication skills for travel, work, and study. Lessons are personalized according to individual goals and interests, creating a learning experience that feels practical and motivating. Regular guidance helps students strengthen fluency and confidence.
