About Mila
I am a Brazilian/Australian living in Richmond and am passionate about languages. I can write and speak Italian, Spanish, and French fluently and love to interact with people from all over. I majored in Spanish and Latin American studies at the University of Melbourne with a High distinction average, I lived in Northern Italy for three years as a child and fell in love with the French at high school. I am currently working on my Portuguese... I have been casually tutoring high school students during my tertiary studies (since 2016) and find it is a pleasure rather than a chore to me as I'm a people person and it allows me to combine my two passions: beautiful languages and interacting with different people. I have great rapports and friendships with all my past students and feel immense pride in their successes - big or small.

I have an informal teaching style as I find it important for my students to feel comfortable enough around me to make mistakes - this is how we learn and improve! Depending on your needs and goals, we can either work on an assignment or specific issue you wish to work on, otherwise, we can start from scratch and work through a textbook, topic by topic. I like to get creative and think of fun ways to learn languages rather than always sticking to a book so the session is dynamic and engaging for you! Ultimately, I am a fantastic listener and observer and will ensure the tutoring sessions are tailored to suit your individual needs. I offer both online or in-person sessions but rest assured the quality of the session remains the same!

Mila is a confident and proficient teacher in multiple languages. I have travelled abroad with Mila and during my time spent with her expanded my language skills immensely.
