About Nikki
I love teaching because I believe everyone should love learning and feel curious about the world around them. Learning should be fun, exciting, and full of discovery — after all, my learners are the leaders of tomorrow! I see education as a lifelong adventure. Knowledge is power, and it’s something that never ends — we are always growing, learning, and finding new ways to understand the world. I describe myself as a bubbly, caring, and creative teacher who loves making lessons enjoyable and meaningful. I’m passionate about helping each learner reach their full potential in a way that builds confidence and curiosity. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me reading, dancing, and spending time with my pets. I truly believe we are never too old to learn something new, and I try to inspire that same love of learning in every student I teach.

I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and enjoyable. When children feel relaxed and confident, they are far more open to learning new things! I love working one-on-one, as it allows me to give each learner the undivided attention they deserve. This personal approach helps them thrive, build confidence, and truly understand the key focus areas in the curriculum.
With 8 years of teaching experience, a B.Ed degree from UNISA, and two TEFL certifications, I specialise in Early Childhood Development and creating a positive learning environment where every child feels seen and supported.
My lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s unique needs, using creative activities, games, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful. I aim to spark curiosity and a love for learning — because knowledge is power, and once you have it, no one can take it away from you.
