About Michael
I started my songwriting career in New York City at workshops and seminars, where I learned methods and styles of songwriting. It was there that I recorded my first songs in the studio in 2015 & 2016. In the following years I worked with musicians, producers and songwriters from Austria. In 2019 I won the Zawinul Award with my own songs, flew to Los Angeles and recorded them there. I released my first song "Somewhere in Neverland" last year under my own label.
My other musical experience includes 13 years of training in classical guitar (winner Prima La Musica 2015, release of solo CD 2020), 3 years of jazz piano at the JMH music school and vocal training at Diepold Voice Studio. I am currently studying jazz and popular music at the Vienna Music Institute after studying songwriting for 1 year.

My "lessons" do not consist of strict hours in which we go through "subject matter", because music doesn't work that way, and certainly not songwriting.
Creating your own piece of music creatively is something very personal and one of the most honest forms of self-expression.
Therefore, I will address you personally in our sessions. We'll take a look at where you stand, why you want to write songs and how we can get the best out of your music. Everyone can write songs and express themselves :)
Through my experience on the guitar, piano, vocals and recording & production as well as in many popular music genres and in German and English, I can teach you a variety of songwriting methods, Teaching approaches, assistance and arranging or showing from scratch how a song is created from beginning to end.

Michael ist ein richtig guter Lehrer. Sein Unterricht ist wirklich empfehlenswert, weil er sehr individuell abgestimmt ist und super viel Spaß macht.
Der Unterricht bei Michi macht einfach so viel Spaß! Er ist unglaublich talentiert und hat daher sehr viel weiterzugeben, ist aber auch sehr geduldig und freut sich über jeden noch so kleinen Fortschritt. Ich gehe immer aufgebaut und motiviert aus dem Unterricht heraus und gewinne mit jeder Stunde mehr Selbstbewusstsein an der Gitarre.
Michael ist nicht nur ein extrem talentierter Gitarrist und Songwriter, sondern hat auch die Begabung sein Wissen super sympathisch und einfach erklärt weiterzugeben. Die Stunden sind super strukturiert, man fühlt sich pudelwohl bei ihm und geht mit Sicherheit motiviert zum Üben nach Hause!
Michael ist ein super sympathischer Lehrer und Mensch mit einem tollen Gespür für seine SchülerInnen. Ich selbst hatte auch schon Unterricht mit ihm und kann nur sagen, dass man sich bei ihm von Anfang an richtig wohl fühlt. Er weiß was er tut, die Stunden sind gut strukturiert und außerdem machen sie Spaß - daher: top Empfehlung für alle! Obendrein auch noch ein fantastischer Songwriter, Gitarrist und Sänger!
