About Elena
I am a singer-songwriter, independent artist, music teacher and BA Songwriting graduate from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance London. I first got into the world of music at the age of 7 and decided to move to London to pursue music as a career in 2019, when I had the privilege of being a semi-finalist on The Voice of Romania. One of the things I love most is songwriting workshops - listening to songs and giving, as well as receiving feedback, and really getting into the specifics of what a song needs and bring out the best in it. This is the reason I decided to get into tutoring and pass on my expertise and help the other person learn and become a better and more confident songwriter themselves.

Each lesson you will present an original song and together we will find what serves the song and what doesn't, as well as what improvements we can make so that the song becomes the best version it can be - The feedback will consist in a wide spectrum of things. Depending on the song and what it needs/ Your vision of where you want to take it, it could range from working on lyrics and melody, all the way to structure, arrangement, production or singing techniques - The lessons are tailored to everyone's individual needs - if you are a complete beginner and you've never written a song before, don't panic! We will cover the absolute basics of popular songwriting together and start from scratch. My goal with these lessons is to understand you as an artist and songwriter and the music you are passionate about and want to make, as well as your goals and aspirations so that we can improve and grow your catalogue and skillset together -
what you believe in and aspire to achieve will dictate the direction of our lessons and journey together :)
