About Marcus
I studied Electronic and Computer Engineering in Australia, and started my career as a software engineer at CAE Australia working on flight simulators. I wanted to live and work in Canada, and decided to move to Toronto in 2019. For the past 5 years I have worked at two different startups at different stages in Toronto. Initially working at ecobee (SWE) during the time when we were acquired by the NYSE-listed Generac. This was an exciting time professionally and personally. I most recently worked at Magic Leap (SWE) during and after the release of the Magic Leap 2.
Now I'm back in Australia and I’ve been enjoying reconnecting with family and friends. I am spending my time volunteering at the local surf life saving club, and using this time to think about small projects and exciting ideas I may want to pursue for myself next.
