Sumi is an excellent teacher who provides self confidence and trust to her students so they can independently in the future think through and start up new projects.

She worked with my 11 year old daughter and other children from our community in starting a pay it forward project in our town which included working with coffee shops and bakeries or food vendors so that people could give charity to others through them. The project was a very big success which opened the heart of all the participants and empowered the children in understanding that they are also able to infuse cooperation and empathy in adults. We will always be grateful to Sumi for her enthusiasm, creativity and care in building this project for our community. It brought together children and adults in a purposeful and fun activity.

Sumi is a really reliable and consistent tutor. She knows her subject inside out. She is also very patient and takes time to make sure everything is understood. I have always found her trustworthy and professional, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone studying Sociology.

Sumi taught both my daughters on a social enterprise project in our town. The workshops Sumi led involved designing, creating and delivering a charity initiative in the town. My girls were so inspired by the project and learnt so many new skills, mostly research and communication skills. I only wish Sumi ran more of these projects which help students with their self-directed learning. Thank you!
