Instead of teaching Chinese from textbooks, I will be teaching native Chinese that is practical for real Chinese conversation.
I’ll be teaching not only how to pronounce Chinese in a correct way but also how to speak Chinese with culture background that really makes your Chinese native. For example, everyone knows how to say hello in Chinese, but we don’t greet people with hello, in China we ask “ have you eaten yet?” or “ Going to eat?”.
Also, some Chinese grammar taught in textbooks can make you sound very strange and tedious, I can help you correct that!
I will use some scenes in TV series and study the Chinese in it with you. Based on that story, I’ll be teaching you the Chinese vocabularies used, their speaking skills and culture background of it. In the end of the class, I’ll role play with you to reinforce your understanding of this particular Chinese conversation.
Also I’ll teach you some special Chinese communication skills that are practical in conversations with local Chinese.
