About Raegan
I always loved school and learning, and now I get to be in school with students everyday! In high school I took college credit plus classes and got to experience tutoring for the first time when my biology professor asked if I'd like to do so. Around this time I started to discover that I had a gift of teaching and helping things make sense, that didn't make sense, to others wether it be inside or outside of the classroom. After high school I started college, where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Social Work and went on to receive my Master of Social Work in 2021, Since then, I worked as a mental health therapist from 2021-2024; and in that time I began teaching in the Social Work Program at Ohio State University - Newark alongside managing the Social Work Program on the Newark campus. I love supporting students and helping them be successful in their academic career!

My teaching style is student-centered, collaborative, and personalized. My goal is to learn where you are struggling and to create a lesson plan that meets you where you are at and makes sense for you based on what feels the hardest about what you are learning, and how you learn best. My lessons would be for anyone in a social work or social science / behavioral health program at the undergraduate level; but would also work well with middle - high school students in social sciences or psychology classes.
