About Michal
I've been teaching high school social studies and ESl students for almost three years. However, that doesn't mean I don't have experience in tutoring. I had tutoring gigs both in high school and college. I also have experience as a counselor for youth groups and summer camps. Before I decided to change careers, my professional background was in public relations. I've worked primarily with healthcare organizations and nonprofits, which means I'm well versed in politics and social issues. My academic and professional background have also honed my writing skills. I'm always looking to share my knowledge with others and learn from those I tutor.

My teaching method involved guiding students to the answer. Memorization is fine, but understanding is even more important, especially when it comes to history. I always adapt explanations and lesson plans to the student's needs. For example, I will provide more visualizations to a student who learns better that way. I will also emphasize clear writing and grammar, no matter the subject.
