About Emily
I am a current post-graduate student of the University of Oxford reading for a doctorate (DPhil) in History of Art. My undergraduate and master's degrees are also from the University of Oxford (BFA Fine Art and MSt History of Art and Visual Culture respectively), and I have over nine years of experience tutoring a wide range of ages - online and in person - for Art, English, History and the History of Art!

I am extremely passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge to form lifetime critical-thinking and analytical skills. You'll be sure to learn lots of quirky things outside the normal curriculum to enrich your learning experience. Each student is different, and I am highly sensitive to tailoring pace and content to suit exactly what you need.
UCAS Personal Statements can be tricky pieces of writing if you don't know where to begin. My approach is to guide you through by helping you structure your thoughts and interests into a statement to be proud of, and that will be suitable for applications to top UK Universities such as Oxford and Cambridge.
I specialise in applications for Oxbridge in History and History of Art, but can also advise and guide for other Humanities subjects such as Classics and English Literature.
