The word cell has its meaning and application in different field of learning but in the life sciences it refers to the basic unit at which life functions. The complexity of the human body to the simplicity of the amoeba all begins with the building blocks called cells.
Cells can be classified based on the bound of its nucleus.
The nucleus is an organelle (part) found within the cell that contains genetic material.
Hence, cell can be classified by whether;
a.Nucleus is covered with a membrane ( eukaryotic cell)
b. Nucleus is not covered with membrane (prokaryotic cell).
