About Lora
As a committed Guitar tutor with 6 years of teaching and professional experience, I have had the privilege of guiding students from their first tentative strum to confident live performances. I teach school and college students and focus on nurturing technical skills, musical understanding, and self-confidence.
Some of the proudest moments of my career have been watching students overcome fear, master challenging pieces, and perform successfully at events and competitions. I emphasise building a solid foundation with proper finger placement, rhythm control, chord transitions, scale exercises, and expressive performance.
I also teach students how to practice efficiently, set realistic goals, and develop stage presence. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and structured, ensuring that students feel supported while progressing steadily. My mission is to create skilled, confident, and passionate musicians who love learning and performing guitar.

In my Guitar classes, I create a structured and motivating environment guided by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I motivate students by helping them recognise steady improvement through consistent effort and guided practice.
Communication plays a key role in my teaching, as I break down complex techniques like barre chords, rhythm variations, and scale applications into manageable steps. I ensure students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their musical interests. Integrity ensures that I maintain high standards by focusing on proper technique, posture alignment, rhythm precision, and disciplined practice routines.
I provide constructive feedback and continuous encouragement. Creativity is developed through improvisation sessions, composing short melodies, and experimenting with diverse music genres. In addition to Guitar, I also teach harmony basics and performance skills.
