About Me
Hello! I’m Dorcas Chibuotu Nwajah, a Speech-Language Therapist and Communication & Developmental Support Specialist based in Lagos, Nigeria.
I have over 7 years of experience supporting children with autism and other developmental needs. Since 2024, I have worked as a Lead Speech Therapist at Senheroes Special Need Services Limited, where I provide individualized speech and language therapy, conduct assessments, monitor progress, and develop therapy goals tailored to each learner’s needs.
My areas of support include speech and language development, articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, communication skills, and early literacy. I also have experience supporting children with autism, developmental delays, and behavioral needs, using structured and individualized approaches.
I believe that every learner has the ability to communicate and develop when given the right support, patience, and learning environment. My sessions are personalized to the learner’s abilities, goals, interests, and developmental level.
I work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure that skills developed during therapy can be supported and practiced beyond the session.
I have also completed professional training in autism intervention, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), social care support, learning disabilities, safeguarding, visual strategies, and child and adolescent mental health, which strengthens my ability to provide holistic support.
