About Isla
Hi! I'm a dedicated sixth form student with a strong academic track record and a passion for helping others succeed. I offer personalised tutoring in subjects like History, and English for (Key Stage 3 and GCSE level).
I believe that the best learning happens when lessons are engaging, supportive, and adapted to the student's needs. I use a mix of clear explanations, guided practice, and active recall techniques to help students build both understanding and confidence. I always encourage questions and aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
The typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes. Each session includes a short review of previous material, a focus on one or two key topics, and plenty of practice with feedback. I also help with homework, exam prep, and revision techniques.
