About Libby
As an accomplished voice performer and music educator, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Voice Performance. With over 10 years of experience, I have been teaching voice and choir, as well as providing piano lessons. I have also received specialized training in early childhood music education.
Beyond the classroom, I have had the privilege of singing professionally in venues across North America and Europe. Music has always been my passion, and my dedication to my craft is evident in every note I sing.
I am committed to sharing my knowledge and love for music with others, and I am excited to continue making a positive impact through teaching and performing.
While music is my first love, I am also a dog lover. My furry companion brings me endless joy and has become a cherished part of my life. You may see her in your lesson...... she's a music lover too!

Who do I teach?
Everyone! Well, almost hahaha.
I am comfortable and experienced working with beginners
(children 7yrs+ and adults) and more advanced performers.
Whether you are a complete first timer, or someone looking for auditions prep, I am here to help! My teaching strengths are in pop, musical theatre and classical (opera and art song).
Every student comes to a lesson with different experiences and knowledge. I am to meet you where you are at, and agree on the best path forward. I am a trauma informed teacher, I also welcome neurodivergent students!
I believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where students can explore their unique voices and build confidence. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced singer, I am dedicated to tailoring my lessons to meet your individual needs and goals.

-music theory/note reading/sight reading (if you ask for this )
I love to provide tools so you can practice at home. I set up a Google classroom for my continuing students where I share your resources to work on between lessons.

Why is my charge what it is?
-My experience, I have been actively teaching regular voice students for over 10 years.
-I provide resources after the lesson is over, spending time to set you up for success at home.
Do you provide shorter lessons?
- For students under 12 years, I am open to a slightly shorter lesson of 45 minutes.
