Kluane taught me several warm-up techniques, range and breathing exercises that I could easily practice at home or for performance preparation. But where she did the most good, was teaching me about stage presence, body language, facial expressions, visualizing the song, story-telling and how it all ultimately affects my vocals. This in turn really boosted my confidence when performing.

Klu has taught me so much from the basics and foundational understanding of vocal anatomy and breathing to helping me create a vocal warm-up and exercises specifically aiding my particular areas needing development. Her personality is ideal for being a coach as she is enthusiastic and encouraging- helping to eliminate my fears about singing and expressing through my voice.

Kluane's classical music background is a huge asset in technical work, and her incredible acting skills are shared with her students when working on delivery of text. She has given me sound advise with repertoire selection, was very helpful and attentive for lessons and gave me a lot of reassurance and confidence before each of my auditions. She is patient, honest and open and gives each of her students a safe and encouraging learning environment.

Kluane was able to pinpoint quickly and accurately the problems I was having with my voice which was predominantly my breathing due to anxiety. With much patience, she helped me focus on each line and the breath moving forward and out, giving me creative, strong images to help keep my throat open. This allowed me to hold my notes for much longer and increased my vocal range dramatically. I gained great confidence in my singing ability and was met with success.
