About Emilie
My musical journey began in my youth on the Danish island of Bornholm, in a musical family. As a young adult I studied musicology in Copenhagen and performed on small stages as a singer/songwriter. Eventually, I ended up in an international band, Heilung, with which I toured all over the world until 2023. This was a very valuable experience for me as a musician.
As a Dane living in the Netherlands with a German partner, I speak multiple languages in daily life. In addition, I studied linguistics and have a great passion for languages. I can teach in English, Dutch, German, or Danish. I can also guide you in the pronunciation of other (old or foreign) languages in terms of singing. My EP "Moersmål", for example, consists of folk songs in a dying dialect.

Via het schoolplein kwamen wij in contact, Emilie is zelf al jaren lang zangeres en kan ontzettend veel verschillende stijlen zingen! Bij binnenkomst in haar gezellige Scandinavische huis laat ze je meteen op je gemak voelen, met een warm kopje thee! Ze luistert goed en weet snel liedjes te vinden die mij aanspreken. Daarnaast weet ze goede aanwijzingen te geven om meer uit mijn stemgeluid te halen. Dat ze zelf met de piano of gitaar begeleid maakt het nog leuker! Ik ben ontzettend tevreden over Emilie en hoop nog jaren lang (al is maar af en toe met mijn drukke/onregelmatige schema) les van haar te kunnen krijgen!
Emilie helped me to find my strength in my voice - so speaking on conferences and workshops are at pleasure again. She provides a save space and listens to the students wishes. Her immense talent and experience reflects in finding the right approach. Thank you Emilie
I recently started singing lessons with Emilie, and I’m really enjoying them! I’m a beginner and she is doing a great job of teaching me vocal warm ups and exercises, as well as practising the songs I enjoy singing.
