About Rebecca
I have been writing and creating music since I was 9 years old when I wrote my first song "Along the bay", and have since used it as a way to express myself and to meet likeminded people. Song writing has added to my life massively through many great experiences such as collaborating with the Ulster Orchestra and performing at festivals. I am a self taught songwriter but have attended several workshops throughout the years with musicians such as MOBO nominated jazz artist David Lyttle, which has improved my skills massively. I feel as though there is a gap for teaching songwriting and I wish to share my passion and knowledge.

Can tutor GCSE composition as well as writing for those wishing to become songwriters and lyricists.
Methods include active listening and deconstructing/analysing songs, jamming/improvisation, lyric writing, score writing (creating music for movie scenes), and more...
Has written and released an EP and several collaborative singles. Plays guitar, piano and flute, with experience writing in all of these instruments. 7 years experience teaching guitar.
Typical session 30-45 minutes for theory such as harmony, structuring, instrumentation, rhythm; and 1 hour for writing and performing to maximise creative flow.
Lessons for beginners to intermediate writers of all ages who may have hit a writing block.
Perfect for kids and teens with an ambition to create music but don't know where to begin!
