About Shilpa
I am a Doctor in Naturopathy, Certified Yoga teacher from Govt. of India & Yoga Alliance USA, nutritionist, and acupressure, colour and magnet therapist. I have an extensive experience in pre-natal, postnatal and therapeutic yoga training with clients from many parts of the world. I offer only customised sessions for mums-to-be and new mums and people suffering from illness. Apart from yoga, I have an expertise in diet and lifestyle counselling.

Tailored Programmes: Sessions are customised as per the client and mum-to-be’s health status, body type and history of any ailments. Holistic Approach: I follow a holistic approach for your overall well-being apart from yoga. The sessions also include diet, lifestyle changes, pranayama and meditation consultation. End Goal: The sessions are designed and practised keeping the problem areas in mind. From mum-to-be’s pregnancy problems like stress and helping the body to get ready for normal delivery is practised. For Postnatal Sessions, Faster Recovery, Reduce Stress and Anxiety, Better Flexibility, Improved Muscle Strength and Tone is ensured.

It's amazing to be a part of a group where all of the girls are going through the same thing as you! Shilpa is a fantastic teacher who shares many tips and experiences with you during class; her sessions make you feel relaxed and secure. This is, in my opinion, a one-of-a-kind experience. You get to practise yoga, learn proper labour positions, nutrition advice, make lifestyle changes, and, most importantly, RELAX! Every class makes me feel better.
It's an amazing experience, and I recommend getting started right away.I looked forward to prenatal yoga with Shilpa every alternate day. Every request is heard, and Shilpa offers advice for every level of yoga and pregnant experience. Shilpa is such a fantastic teacher! It was delightful to take prenatal yoga classes with Shilpa. She is a beautiful lady inside and out. She is definitely aware and present and she is so insightful in so many different areas of this world of pregnancy and babies. I loved stopping my busy life and taking time to contemplate my baby, our health, the reverence and the feelings of gratefulness. The prenatal yoga helped me to be more peaceful and trust my body more! It helped ease my hip pain and enjoy my belly more.. From about 18 weeks until I gave birth, I participated in prenatal yoga sessions three times per week. It was a great opportunity for me to take care of myself and my baby, take care of my body, get prepare for the birth, and, as a bonus, meet other expecting mothers. Shilpa is an excellent instructor, exudes the most incredible energy, and is incredibly inclusive. I considered myself quite fortunate to have met her; her class made my pregnancy so delightful, and I will undoubtedly attend her postpartum sessions as well. My husband and I also joined her birthing classes, where we learned some breathing exercises, stretches, and massage methods to use while she was in labour. It was quite enjoyable for both of us and very beneficial.
So glad I found Shilpa @ Heal-In Sutras and her awesome yoga classes to help me through the pregnancy. I had Gestational diabetes and my baby was in breach position when I joined her. She customized the sessions according to my needs and offered not only Yoga sessions but continuous counselling on diet & lifestyle changes & birthing session are part of the package. My first child was through C-Section but this time it was a VBAC. God bless her what she has done & I wish her all the best.

I am based out of UK and started using Heal in Sutras as I didn’t want to risk stepping out to actual classes due to COVID and I am only so glad I did that. I have been very impressed with Dr. Shilpa and her team. They have been a great support over last few months. And this is not only with respect to Yoga but additional consultation that they provide. Any pregnancy related question I have, I turn to Dr. Shilpa and I get prompt responses. This is a big help being here in the UK as it’s only always easy to get through NHS. With respect to yoga itself, I have found them great. They take you at a pace that suits you and provide great tips or recommend exercises that you should practice to help with labour. I started using Heal in Sutras during my 4th month and only regret not having used them sooner. I highly recommend Heal in Sutras to my friends in India and the UK.
Dr. Shilpa’s expertise is what you would want in a personal trainer if you want to gain strength, stamina, energize yourself postpartum. Being a Naturopath doctor, she is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and its workings hence structure the sessions that is perfect for your needs. Heal- In Sutras is highly recommended if you are looking to work with someone who will give you individual care and attention specific to your needs :)

I am going through my first pregnancy right now. Joining Heal-in Sutras is one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. It has helped me manage my stress and be healthy mentally and physically.
Classes at Heal-In Sutras are about an hour long. The prenatal yoga poses are geared towards birth preparation,strength, stamina, breathing techniques..She follows an ongoing approach of teaching on how to deal with aches and pains.
Shilpa is very knowledgeable and is always very patient with my questions about natural birth and pregnancy.
I would highly recommend this class to all the moms-to-be. I started going to these classes around the 21st week of pregnancy. Highly recommended !I had a very fulfilling experience joining Heal-In Sutras prenatal yoga classes. These classes not only instilled confidence in me but also helped me sail through labor without an epidural. It altogether resulted in a very wonderful, empowering, and invigorating birth experience for me that has resulted in a happy healthy baby birth. Shilpa can be perfectly called as Yoga guru. I joined Heal-in Sutras prenatal online yoga classes during pandemic away from family where I wasn’t sure how much I will gain but Dr Shilpa gave her best effort and left no stone unturn to make feel secure, confident about my pregnancy and way ahead. It was a great course with her which led to have smooth pregnancy and helped me in great way for my normal delivery...she goes an extra mile to guide and support you with diet chart n emotional connect. Also not to mention she has personality full of positivity and charm that boost all the energy in you. Highly recommended for any yoga and meditation classes.
