About Ivy
I am a dedicated violin tutor with a Master’s degree and several years of teaching experience. I have worked with beginners as well as advanced students, helping them refine their skills and achieve meaningful progress in their musical journey. I am committed to guiding students with clarity, patience, and consistent support to ensure steady improvement.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and student-focused. I believe every learner has unique strengths, so I adjust my methods to match individual needs. This approach ensures steady development while keeping lessons enjoyable and inspiring. I also encourage regular practice habits and provide constructive feedback to help students overcome challenges effectively.
Outside of teaching, I continue to explore classical and contemporary violin works to enhance my musical knowledge. This ongoing learning allows me to bring fresh techniques and insights into my lessons, helping students grow both technically and artistically. I also enjoy attending performances and workshops to stay inspired and updated in my field.

My violin lessons are designed to develop both technical accuracy and musical expression in a balanced and progressive way. Students learn essential foundations such as posture, bowing technique, finger placement, intonation, rhythm control, and tone production, ensuring a strong base for long-term musical growth.
Each lesson is carefully adapted to the student’s age, skill level, and musical goals. Whether preparing for exams, auditions, orchestra participation, or personal enjoyment, students receive step-by-step instruction that helps them build confidence, discipline, and consistent improvement over time.
I focus on creating a motivating and structured learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged. Through regular practice routines, performance feedback, and engaging repertoire, learners develop creativity, focus, and a deeper appreciation for violin music.
