About Shane
Previous students have gone on to attend major universities for music, and have been all-state level players in both New Mexico and Arizona. Shane believes in allowing the interest of students to guide the focus, but relying on universal technique approaches that benefit their playing in multiple ways.
Shane encourages a practice journal to help maintain organization on learning topics, and a place for students to figure out what system for working on music benefits them most.

Shane is a freelance drummer and percussionist based in New York City. He can be currently seen subbing at The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Off-Broadway, and has performed with artists Bella Coppola, Carolina Rial, and Morgan Dudley. He has performed with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and was featured on ESPN with the NYU Percussion Ensemble.
