I individualize all my lessons to tailor to the needs of the student. Every learner has different strengths, and working to minimize weaknesses and improve using their strengths helps carve a successful lesson. Typically, I have students send me the homework or lesson plans they want to focus on ahead of time, so I can prepare a lesson. I start by working on problematic subjects, teaching a lesson, and then working through problems or topics that need improvement. I focus heavily on making sure the work is independent, but guided. I can teach anywhere from Kindergarten to intro college classes.
