About Namitha
I am a Senior Secondary School English teacher. I can relate to the phobia that most students have with the speaking and writing of English , as most of us experience the same since English is not a native language to many. English as a language is to be enjoyed and not to be learnt as a subject. This is the first step to strike an affinity with the language.It is better to see the beauty of the language first and then to worry about the rules. After all rules are meant to be broken! so let's start afresh and change our perception of seeing the language as foe. Lets befriend it !!!

Senior secondary students and spoken English for adults. I believe in teaching functional English as language is a medium of communication and not a subject to by heart. Keeping this in mind I try to make the learning process interesting by giving real life examples and situations and also by introducing the fun part of the language ,in a simple and comprehensible manner. It is very important to break the misconceptions and fear of speaking English in a group this mainly arises due to the lack of vocabulary and confidence, the main focus should be to help the learner to shed their inhibitions and be confident.
